Who we are

SAR Grant Watch is a free resource published and paid for by Constellation Response, which sells radios, mesh communications gear, and drones to SAR and public safety teams.

How we choose news

• We pick stories useful to SAR, EM, fire, and EMS teams: new gear and tech, team and agency stories, policy changes, and funding.
• Every item links to its original source. Summaries are written by us. We don't republish full articles or press releases.
• Gear makers' press releases are welcome. We don't charge for coverage, and we don't accept payment to run, rank, or drop a story.
• We don't promote a small number of products that compete directly with our sponsor's mesh and tactical communications gear. They may appear only in brief, factual, sourced and dated references, such as a published price. We say so here so you can weigh our coverage accordingly.
• Some drone makers are covered only when the news concerns security problems, bans or restrictions, or product failures, and not for product launches or promotion.

How sponsor items are labeled

• Anything about Constellation Response carries a FROM OUR SPONSOR label and an orange edge, both on the site and in email.
• Sponsor items stay at about 1 in 5 or fewer, and never displace a time-sensitive outside story.
• Grant listings and eligibility info are never shaped around what the sponsor sells.
